Cookies anyone??
No pressure, but Riley is selling Otis Spunkmeyer cookies for a school fundraiser. They have a variety of cookies, dessert treats, and also frozen pretzels. All items are $16. If anyone is interested or wants more information, please let me know. I would have to look at the paper again, but I believe that the orders are due on October 11.
32 weeks
Today was my 32 week check up and proud to report that baby and mommy are healthy! It was my final blood draw today and as the doc said..in the home stretch now:) My blood pressure and everything are good and baby's heartbeat was healthy and strong! Weight gain is tapering a little, or maybe it is just that I have been on 2 week appointments now. Feeling big lately and not sure how it is possible that I have a fair amount of growing still in store! Plus she is pushing on some nerves in my abdomen which give the sensation of "ripping my flesh"! All just the joys of pregnancy and so worth it for the prize at the end:) Guess we need to start getting all the preparations in order....

From white belt to yellow....
Today Riley moved from a white belt in tae kwan do to a yellow belt!! We are so proud of all she has learned and how well she has done over the past 8 weeks. It is time to renew her "membership" too, so hopefully she decides to stick with it and keep moving up in belts. She seems to really enjoy her classes and we think it helps that her class is all girls:) Also nice to see her involved in something...she always says no when we offer up new activities for her to do. Way to go Riley! Keep kicking butt:) (Ok...not literally!) (And this week she starts an after school art class 1 day a week too!)

Payton's Big Girl Art
This weekend I finally finished my artwork for Payton's big girl room! I am pretty pleased with how well they turned out. Now to get them ready for hanging and up on the wall, so that her room is all transitioned to a big girl room. (Pardon the one of the green owl. It turned out a little light and is hard to see in the pic. I still love it though!)

From guest room to nursery....
Well the crib and furniture have been in the room for a while, but it was still the blue guest room with a crib. This weekend Mike was very busy turning the room into a nursery fit for a princess!! We decided to go for a two-tone pink room this time. And it only took baby girl number 3 to have us finally go with a pink room:) This time we are switching up the theme too and instead of going with our gender neutral farm, we are borrowing some girly butterfly bedding from Chrissy.
Here are some before, during, and after photos of the room. Next step....decorating!!
Payton's Big Girl Bed
In June, Payton moved to her big girl bed, but her decorations stayed the same and she got boring white linens. I was then in a search to find the perfect duvet cover to match her green room with its orange stripe. With the help of Chrissy, we came along the perfect duvet cover on etsy. Yet the price appalled me, so I called up mom:) She was so kind to say that she would be willing to make the duvet cover for Payton's room. Little did she know the project that she was really getting into!! Well she worked hard and turned out this awesome handmade duvet cover!!!!! We were all so pleased with how it turned out:) Her work is just amazing! (And it turned out WAY better than the one from etsy would have been. Maybe in the end it was not much cheaper, but it was made with love!!!) Next time I see mom and dad I will get the shams and then Payton's big girl bed is complete. Now it is my turn...to get my butt to work on some new canvases for her room. I started practicing today and will get going real soon! (And you cannot see the underside, but it is white with little yellow polka dots.)
